Do you like Tamales? My family does but we cannot always afford to go to a restaurant to buy them.
HEB sells packages of Tamales called "Mi Comida". They come in a plastic vacuumed, easy-to-open package. The average price is about $5.00 for the package.
The Tamales are available in the following flavors:
Beef
Chicken
Pork
Refried Bean
Jalapeño Cheese
They come 12 Tamales to a package and are Ready-to-eat.
Simply open the package and prepare in many ways.
You may microwave them, put them in a skillet with a teaspoon of water and steam with a lid, put in the oven, the toaster oven however you like them.
My family loves to eat them with sour cream, pico, salsa, and guacamole right out of the microwave for lunch, breakfast, or a snack.
