My son and I were on the way home from a fun day out.  We like to drive through downtown on the way home.  I love the old buildings which are disappearing quickly to make place for SoHo or New York style apartments and buildings. My son says it is like living in New York to him.  He is 11 and has never been to New York so he only knows what television shows. LOL.

We ended up driving down Josephine street to avoid some down town traffic we went around the city.  I showed him where my old dry cleaner was (Kraft Cleaners), then I pointed out the Josephine Theater, then out of the corner of my eye I noticed a sign slowly spinning to the right.  We were on our way to get something to eat before we got home and I thought "why not".  This is how I end up eating at most of the places I eat at anyway.

I turned right and on the left side of the street I saw a drive-in style 1960-70's diner, shaped like the old west buildings popular with Disney World, & northern style housing in the 60's.  The colors were from the 1970-1960's with the brown and orange.

The tri-sided spinning sign had a an old school appeal with a Burger Boy on it!  I am SOLD!

The drive through is just wide enough for one car.  You can walk up to the outside window and order, then sit outside to eat, or you can go into the back door and order to dine in or take out.

We went inside to order then we ate in the car like the old days with the radio playing.  LOL
The place was hopping inside and people were coming and going while we waited.  People from all walks of life came and went. Our food did not take too long to make and serve at all either.  That is another reason we ate in the car.  The inside was getting full and the outside seating was full.

The staff is very kind and helpful, they greet every customer.  The restaurant is clean, the staff appearance is clean and tidy.  They wear cool old fashioned paper chef hats!  It is family friendly, and does have Coca-Cola products.

Now lets get to the best part of the blog...the food.  The french fries are large crinkle cut fries.  Everything is made fresh.  The fries are crispy outside and nice and soft on the inside.  The perfect fry.

The burgers are quite large. We ordered single patties, the patties are thin and you can tell they are real hamburger.  The flavor is outstanding.  All veggies on the burger were fresh. The Bun is toasted on both sides and is super yummy.

I love the logo!  I just had to take a pic.  The drink cups are pretty large for their sizes!  Soda comes from the fountain perfectly mixed!
