Revisit Pig Stand San Antonio Texas

I recently Re-Visited Pig Stand, San Antonio, Texas

My Dad recently came over to good old San Antonio, Texas for a visit. Or as my Dad calls it "San Anton" lol.  So we took him out to the Pig Stand for lunch one day.  It was me, Dad, and his grandson, my son.

I took some more pics for you all this time!

The above picture is the front cover of the menu, pretty cool hu?

Below are some of the menu pages depicting actors and singers from the 1950/1960 eras,

This time we were able to use the Juke box!
I taught my son how to use it and we had a blast choosing our music.  The speakers on the box works as well as the music is piped overhead.

They were quite busy today as they had a swap meet outside under the old car hop area.  They only had 2 waitresses working today.  Of all the times I had now been here this time our food took longer and the waitresses were swamped.  They have to take your order, serve you, and cash out your check.  But we understand being busy and short staffed and we were in no hurry.

While we waited my son and I played I spy the pig with... There are pigs everywhere in this restaurant!

Once again, yours truly was so hungry and the food smelled so good I forgot to take a pictur of it! I will try to remember next time!

My son had money that was burning a hole in his pocket, so we went outside to the swap meet.  They had vendors with car parts, vinyl stickers, antiques, and novelty items as well.

We had a great time today and Dad got to hear some of his favorite music while sharing amazing RACING CAR stories with his grandson who was totally in awe!
